Wednesday, May 26, 2010. You may have noticed that things have been incredibly quiet over here. The reason is because I have been moving! After a couple of months of pulling out my hair, stressing and subsequently procrastinating, I have finally moved into my new home over at the-hungrygirl. Friday, February 22, 2013. A classic, Aussie breakfast of Vegemite toast soldiers taken to all new heights. Kim had the brilliant idea of setting a layer of vegemite in polenta. He let it set, cut it into soldiers and fried it. Top off the decadence with a fine micro-planing of cheese and dip into free-range soft boiled eggs.

I guess things are starting to get away from me and the blog is suffering.

Thoughts on food, the blogosphere and everything. Sunday, May 09, 2010. Here are 2 recipes that always remind me of my Mum. These are deliciously moreish, particularly fresh out of the oven. 1 small can of coconut cream. 3 tablespoons of your favourite curry powder. 3 sheets of puff pastry.

Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Katsu Yachiyo is one of the newbies on the scene. a katsu specialist! It is tucked away on Devonshire St, Surry Hills and if you walk any faster you will miss it as they dont have a big flashy sign outfront.

Tea for Two at the Tea Parlour, Redfern. A splendid high tea for two. Blink and you could miss the Tea Parlour. Tea Parlour is busy on this Sunday afternoon and the place is filled with a groups of chatty giggling girls. I do spot a few guys here and there, but they are a bit of an endangered species.
